is it crazy to do a 4hour-ride to Amsterdam for a concert? Maybe, but WORTH IT!
arrived at 14:00 at Camping Zeebrug in the east of Amsterdam and threw our tent next to the waterfront - I definetely recommend this camping site
we took a tram to Dam square in the city centre where a big pillow fight took place - we didn’t have any clue what this was about..
we spent the afternoon with walking through the city centre and its canals
and in the evening finally: City & Colour concert at Melkweg - I think it’s one of the most awesome concert locations of this size I’ve been to!
after the concert we went to a nice Belgish bar with a typical very big choice of different beers :) getting to the camping site at night was possible by nightbus. the ride took some time, but we arrived safely and so we did after another four-hour-ride back home!
Michigan’s band La Dispute just released their new longplay record “Wildlife”. After several listens I think it’s one of the best albums of the year 2011. There is no other band with such an authentic atmosphere while their singer is doing his own characteristic mixture of talking and shouting within all moods from desparation to anger.
Everyone who is into genres of punk/hardcore/screamo/indie who doesn’t know this band should totally give them a listen! The intro is leading into the atmosphere of the album and my favourite songs are interestingly all the tracks with odd numbers and especially King Park as a seven-minute-masterpiece!
After At the drive-in’s following band Sparta announced their hiatus after three studio albums three years ago they recently announced a concert in their hometown El Paso and they were planning to record their fourth album!

This article (in german language) explains why the city structure of London with all classes of society living together in the city and its endless suburbs of Greater London can’t be compared with a city e.g. like Paris with its so called “banlieues”.
"If a Paris banlieue is burning, you can close off that borough and the rest of Greater Paris wouldn’t even recognize!"
shaping my own site and presenting myself like I want is reminding me a bit of myspace in the early years before it became more and more an imitator of facebook and forgot his own strengths and characteristics…
ok, just started. I’ll see what I can do else in the next days…
